RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Oct. 26, 2005–Transaction Network Services (TNS), Inc. (NYSE:TNS), a leader in the delivery of business critical, time sensitive transaction data, today announced it has been selected by Fantasy Entertainment(R), a leading supplier of innovative self-service imaging kiosks, to equip their photo booths with the Synapse cashless vending solution from TNS. The Synapse cashless vending solution allows consumers to use credit and debit cards for payment, offering consumers additional convenience and choice regarding payment.

“The Synapse Vending solution allows our customers much appreciated payment flexibility,” said Dale Valvo, CEO, Fantasy Entertainment. “The cashless option will deliver increased sales volume at our existing kiosks, and will also provide us with the capability to introduce new products of higher value to customers.”

“This is exciting technology, and TNS has demonstrated its commitment to growth and innovation in the cashless vending arena,” said Heidi Goff, executive vice president of the POS division, TNS. “Because Fantasy Entertainment’s kiosks differ from the standard vending machine, the company required a solutions provider that is able to think and act outside the box. Synapse Vending by TNS is a market-ready solution that can be quickly installed in existing vending machines and comes with wireless connectivity that eliminates the need to hardwire machines. “Synapse Vending by TNS is a complete bundled end to end solution; meaning the solution includes hardware, communication services, card processing, settlement and Internet-based reporting,” said John Powell, vice president Vending Services, TNS. “Synapse for Vending provides a vending route operator with a single source for all their cashless vending needs.”
