FSCC Brings Check 21 to Shared Branching Kiosks
SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Credit unions that are networked with the Financial Service Centers Cooperative, the national shared branching network which is based primarily on the West coast, now will have the option of bringing check 21 deposits to their members, the network said.
FSCC has inked an agreement with WesCorp and Ensenta, a vendor of self-service networking, to allow its member credit unions to use FSCC branded kiosks to deposit checks without envelopes and to likely offer their members immediate credit on checks they deposit this way.
“We are pleased that the certification with WesCorp went so well for Check 21,” commented Sarah Canepa Bang, CEO of FSCC. “The Self Service Branch kiosk provides another channel for credit unions in supporting their own members and guest members at existing branches. It can also provide access at SEG locations, and in retail stores. With the kiosk certified to Check 21, the challenge of processing physical checks goes away. The imaging process will not only make the credit union’s back office more efficient, but significantly reduces handling costs.” -
