FutureLogic’s New ProMatrixTM Promotional Couponing System Enables Casino Marketing Initiatives
Glendale, Calif.-September 13th, 2005-FutureLogic, Inc., the leading manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, announced today the introduction of its new ProMatrixTM Promotional Matrix Couponing System. This integrated solution turns slot tickets into colorful, eye-catching coupons and helps casino marketing departments deliver real-time targeted promotions from any FutureLogic printer-equipped gaming system.
By enabling proactive marketing functions on the casino floor, the ProMatrix system provides a practical, value-added printer solution for casinos of all sizes and locations. Integrated with every GEN2TM, GEN2 VSTTMand GEN2 UniversalTM printer, ProMatrix helps casinos implement dynamic promotional coupon campaigns in three easy steps.
Step 1. Design the Campaign
From the convenience of a workstation PC, the ProMatrix Management Tool lets casinos quickly create multiple templates, using a second color and a variety of fonts and sizes, to enhance the appearance and effectiveness of promotional coupons. Promotions can be customized using a wide range of triggers - including date, time of day, birthdays, incentives, length of play, frequency of issue, wagering activity and other user-definable criteria. The Management Tool is then used to integrate coupons and triggers to create promotions, and bundle promotions to define a campaign.
Step 2. Upload the Campaign
Once the coupons have been designed and the campaign defined, the ProMatrix Management Tool uploads the campaign database to the promotional server. The static elements of the campaign are then automatically downloaded to specific GEN2-equipped slots throughout the casino. This operation is performed via PromoPortTM, the GEN2’s patent-pending, dedicated promotional printing port.
Step 3. Implement the Campaign
When the promotion is launched the promotional server sends the dynamic data related to a coupon to the printer. The GEN2 PromoPort connection architecture provides for simultaneous communication with the game controller and the promotional server and synchronizes data from these two systems to buffer coupons until any system vouchers are processed. This simple, secure system approach ensures that cashout tickets and vouchers are ALWAYS printed prior to coupons, and offers casinos of all sizes a flexible, cost-effective solution for promotional couponing.
Other key ProMatrix features include:
* Multiple pages of stored templates-up to 100 for 1MB memory version or 1000 for the 8MB version;
* Exportable promotional campaign data may be used to measure campaign effectiveness;
* Firmware /promotional database may be upgraded without removing printer from game, eliminating downtime;
* Overlapping print regions can be used to create sophisticated-looking graphic elements;
* Simultaneous print orientation at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees maximizes content utilization;
* Wide variety of hi-res typefaces and sizes facilitates design of “magazine quality” promotions.
The new ProMatrix Promotional Matrix Couponing System helps casino marketing departments take advantage of new technologies to expand the functionality of their ticket printers. “FutureLogic’s GEN2 printers have evolved with the cashless gaming market, setting new standards for reliability and innovation,” said Nick Micalizzi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for FutureLogic. “ProMatrix leverages the latest printing and communications technologies to simplify the promotional couponing process and enable a wide variety of casino marketing initiatives.”
