SanomaWSOY’s Rautakirja unit buys Lithuania’s Lietuvos Spauda kiosk chain
HELSINKI (AFX) - SanomaWSOY Group Oyj said its Rautakirja unit has acquired Lithuania’s Lietuvos Spauda kiosk chain, helping to boost the position of Rautakirja in the Baltic region.
No financials were given for the deal.
‘Lietuvos Spauda is the leading kiosk chain in Lithuania, with a nationwide coverage based on a total of 540 kiosk outlets,’ the company said.
The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Lithuanian competition authorities, it added.
